JULIA MORGAN RESIDENCE

LBI is nearing completion of the renovation project for a remarkable Grand Craftsman home in San Francisco's St. Francis Wood neighborhood. This exceptional residence, originally designed by Julia Morgan in 1917, has undergone an extensive remodel. Working closely with Architect Killian O’Sullivan, our efforts have included the installation of new concrete foundations, stem walls, and steel I-beams, as well as comprehensive upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Respecting the home's historical significance, our team prioritized preservation, striving to maintain the integrity of the original structure. Wherever feasible, we carefully removed and repurposed existing framing, restored the home's original windows and glass, and preserved the original detailing, paying homage to its timeless charm.
