West Baltimore balances ease, design quality, and indoor–outdoor living on one of Larkspur’s most beautiful blocks. Long vacant, the bungalow required full structural and systems renewal. LBI lifted and leveled the house to pour a new foundation, then carried out a down-to-the-studs remodel and targeted expansion that brings a refined mid-century sensibility to a downtown address. In collaboration with Polsky Perlstein Architects, the plan was reorganized around a bright great room, with soaring ceilings and large windows connecting the kitchen, family, and dining areas to the gardens. Sliding doors from both the great room and the primary suite lead to a private yard with a stone patio, cedar hot tub, and cold plunge, and a level lawn for everyday use. Modern, durable materials maintain a calm, welcoming palette.

The 3-bed / 2.5-bath main residence pairs with an attached 1-bed / 1-bath ADU for flexible guest, extended family, or rental living.
